Equinethos: VDC

Equinethos is pleased to collaborate with "VCD Stud", Albacete, Spain. Working
with the VDC Stud we offer the opportunity to attend classical dressage training
clinics in Spain working with classically trained Spanish horses under the
watchful eye of Director, José Luis Valdés. There is also the opportunity to
purchase unspoilt, well started horses bred at the Stud. Trips with an
accompanying Spanish speaking dressage trainer can be arranged or videos can
be arranged.

José Luis Valdés runs the VDC Stud in Albacete spending his life around horses
- thinking, working, learning and dreaming! José Luis is a Grand Prix rider,
breeder and former director of Dressage at the UNED University of Madrid. He
acquired his equestrian knowledge from famous trainers such as Álvaro Domecq
y Diez, José Gutiérrez (REAAE), Manuel Vidrié, Augusto Colastra and Klaus
Balkenhol amongst others. He now passes on his wealth of knowledge to his
clients and many of the horsemen and horses he has trained have been
successful in dressage, reaching high levels of success. His passion and
commitment to the individual training of the horse and rider is unique, assessing
each combination and their training needs as a unique partnership, producing
successful results.

There are always a selection of high quality horses for sale from the VDC Stud.
The Stud prides itself in producing horses with exceptional rideability and good
character at competitive prices. The young horse is given the best opportunity to
flourish in its natural environment and then started under the expertise of the VDC
team. The horses of the VDC Stud demonstrate their quality through the purity of
their blood and their impressive presence and trainability - making them an
incomparable all round riding horse with a particular flair for dressage.
